Othello is a classic strategy board game which was invented by an Englishman in the 19th century and
developed by Japanese in 1970's.
It used 'Othello' the Shakespeare's tragedy play to rename the game.But why using such a name?
Because othello is the name of a man who is the hero in one of the Shakespeare's plays.He was a
Negro,and his wife was a white person.It was an unworthy provoked him that he always doubted whether
his wife was constant to him.So he killed his wife.In the end,he knew the truth.He felt compunction
and suicided.
The game was named since this famous play.And it becomes popular in the world.
