สี่ ห้า และหก ในที่นี้ หมายถึง จำนวนจุดในท้อง ของกลุ่มหมาก ซึ่งมีอยู่เพียงห้องเดียว ปกติ
ถ้าโดนล้อมจากข้างนอก ก็ต้องตายแน่ๆ เพราะมีเพียงแค่ห้องเดียว

แต่ถ้า เป็นหมากที่โดนล้อม ในลักษณะที่มีหมากตัดกันอยู่ และต่างต้องไล่จับกินกัน การมี สี่
(จุดดอกไม้,ตัวT) จึงนับว่ามี ห้า liberty
